BAILEY SCHOOL KIDS几乎已经被他囫囵屯枣地看完了，每天的READING LOG有那么两个星期都是BAILEY SCHOOL KIDS，奖励了一本小书：BEAST QUEST: ZEPHA THE MONSTER SQUID，结果上了瘾。要求开始读这个系列：

Book 1: Ferno the Fire Dragon (The token is a Dragon Scale put in his shield protecting Tom from fire)
Book 2: Sepron the pea Serpent (The token is a Chipped Tooth put in his shield so that Tom will not drown)
Book 3: Arcta the Mountain Giant (The token is a Eagle feather. When he is falling from any sort of height, he can just hold the shield above his head and it will slow down his fall just like a parachute.) (released as Cypher the Mountain Giant in the US)

Book 13: Torgor the Minotaur (Tom got a Red Jewel and Tagus the Horse-Man got saved) (The Red Jewel from Torgor's axe helps Tom communicate with the good beasts)
Book 14: Skor the Winged Stallion (Tom got a Green Jewel and Epos the Flame Bird got saved) (The green jewel from a hoove of Skor repairs broken bones)
Book 15: Narga the Sea Monster (Tom got a Yellow Jewel and Sepron the Sea Serpent got saved) (The yellow jewel from one of Narga's teeth gives Tom an excellent memory)

Series 5 - The Shade of Death
Book 25: Krabb Master of the Sea (magical pearl found in the bark of a tree helps Tom breath underwater) (The curse is some green venom stored in its claw makes the beast evil.)
Book 26: Hawkite Arrow of the Air (golden ring found in a pond at a village lets Tom blend in to the background when still) (The curse is a few green feathers on one of its wings.)
Book 27: Rokk The Walking Mountain (spider web gloves are really sticky. It helps Tom climb easily) (The curse is a green jewel that is in Rokk's eye.)
Book 28: Koldo The Ice Warrior (magical scales helps him balance when Tom stumbles) (The curse is Koldo's shield.)
Book 29: Trema The Earth Lord (magic mirror lets any reflected rays shone on it burn through anything) (The curse is some round-shaped jewels on the beast's head.)
Book 30: Amictus The Bug Queen (brass telescope lets Tom see things that are usually camouflaged) (The curse is a claw that is in a shade of dark green that is much darker than the green all over its body.) Tom finds out that Freya is his mother.
Series 6 - The World of Chaos
Tom must travel to the Kingdom of Kayonia where Evil Wizard Velmal who sends six evil Beasts to do his bidding, to kill Tom! Tom has to recover six potions guarded by the Beasts to free Freya, Mistress of the Beasts. Will Tom triumph over them? Has he got the guts? While there is blood in his veins...

Book 31: Komodo The Lizard King
Komodo lives in a dead desert. Can Tom, Elenna, Storm and Silver conquer him?
Book 32: Muro The Rat Monster
Muro can command the vermin of Kayonia to do his wicked bidding.
Book 33: Fang The Bat Fiend
Can Tom destroy this foul creature and get the potion ingredient?
Book 34: Murk The Swamp Man

Characters

Tom
Tom is a hero & the only son of the legendary Taladon the Swift, a Beast Master. Tom has inherited great courage and valor from his father who disappeared mysteriously when he was a baby, leaving him to be brought up by his uncle and aunt in the village of Errinel.

The king of Avantia invites Tom to embark on a quest to free the kingdom from the evil curses placed upon the beasts that protect it. With his trusted companion, Elenna, Tom travels across Avantia, guided by a magic map. Accompanied by Storm, a jet-black stallion and a faithful wolf named Silver, the two of them face the biggest adventures of their lives. Together they set out to defeat the evil wizard Malvel and free the kingdom.

Tom's catchphrase, which is repeated in every single Beast Quest book published to date is: "While there's blood in my veins..." then whatever his specific mission is after it.

Elenna
Elenna is Tom's trusted companion. She is strong and courageous and able to think quickly under pressure. After her parents died in a fire, Elenna was sent to live with her mean-spirited uncle and aunt, where Silver was her only friend. Armed with a bow and a quiver of arrows, Elenna is an expert archer and ably assists Tom on his quest. Most of the unfortunate events in the Beast Quest, for instance being poisoned, may happen to Elenna. Note fans have said that Elenna may have romantic feelings for Tom.

Storm
Storm is Tom's trusty steed on his Beast Quest. He is a jet-black stallion with a white mark shaped like an arrowhead between his eyes. He is brave and fast, and understands exactly what Tom needs him to do. He slows down at the slightest pull on his reins and speeds up the second Tom touches his sides with his heels. He was given to Tom by King Hugo of Avantia, so as to help him on his Quests.

Silver
Silver is Elenna's wolf friend. Having found him injured during a hunting trip, Elenna nursed him back to health and they've been best friends ever since. Silver is as fast as the wind and able to cover large distances easily and quickly. He has an excellent sense of smell and can sniff out danger from afar.

Aduro
Aduro (sometimes known as Aduro the Good) is a powerful wizard that serves King Hugo of Avantia. He was once captured by Malvel the Dark Wizard and rescued by Tom. He also provides Tom with a map of the Forbidden Land, which constantly pinpoints the locates of all the Beasts hidden in the Forbidden Land. He also went under a magical transformation casted onto him by Malvel: this turned him into a savage man known as Aduro the Bad. The spell was later lifted when Tom defeated Arax the Soul Stealer.

Malvel
Malvel the Dark Wizard is the main villain of the Beast Quest series. He encounters Tom many times and continuously casts spells which summon powerful monsters called Beasts. Aduro notes that his power grows weak when repelled three times.

King Hugo
King Hugo is the ruler of avantia he sets Tom on his quest to free the beasts and save the kingdom
