机票出了。还是用老板的帐号将她的机票升舱到商务舱。回来还没有敲定,再说了。订的过程也是一番周折,我也不想冗述了。反正结果好就好。
HR找我谈话。我觉得很纳闷,如果只是关心我,在我半年前回来的时候是不是就应该关心我了,而不是半年以后,所以我觉得蹊跷。HR的人是这么说的,你觉得自己身体力行么?身体上,精神上,用的是physically and mentally。我的感觉是一定有人去告状了。这是一个catch-22,如果我说行,那么就会不停地给你加工作的LOAD;如果我说不行,他立刻接过话茬说,要不要给你换个岗位,或者做PART-TIME。我反问,是我的小组长抱怨了我的业绩么?他立刻摇头,矢口否认说,不是不是,我们只是想看看作为公司的HR,要让你知道你所有的OPTION,你可以进行选择。我听着很不安。回来告诉了黄领带。他的第一反应就是给我的行政领导写封信,告诉他们,张卓是非常胜任她的工作的。当然,为了不太明显,他也同时“评估”了一下TEAM里的其他人:
Hi all-- I just wanted to keep everyone on the same page with the metals and mining team. First off, we continue to rank #1 or #2 when I've seen Tim's ranking of regular and power users, hits per BIT, sales of terminals etc. We are only top 10 BIT production, but that's ok by me as we are taking quality over quantity, and that is why we think our power user numbers are so high. As for the team, here's a quick review. Sunny--really been the rock of the team since Andrew left. writes the most, does most of the data flashes, and more and more doing special research projects. This is on top to a lot of data we are still building out on our dashboards, she is invaluable. Her only flaw is that she often writes original research, but does not take first name credit. I will watch for this in the future. Ollie-- Ollie is well, Ollie. His ability to network our brand is the number 1 reason why we sell so much and will, win my bet with health-care again for the top-selling dashboard says so, I am certain we will be the #1 area for sales for the 4th year in a row. But what I think is missed is his ability to generate truly first class contacts for me makes me a far better analyst and why our BITs are so well hit. It is immeasurable that Ollie got me in contact with the head of Paulson's gold fund, John Reade, or the heads of the World Gold Council, LBMA, the head of the CME, or head of Barclay's Investment Bank, and the list goes on a mile long. These contacts add greatly to our research as we get insights that others drool for. Our events create a community, which is why our chat room is number 1. Ollie's flaw, though not a fatal flaw, is his laxness on detail when he writes. That is being addressed and will be fixed. Thanks for patience on this growing pain. Chris Krug--If I could put together the analytical and modeling ability of Chris with the drive and determination of Ollie, that one person could run 10 dashboards, but sadly, what Chris has in ability, I believe we will never see in the drive. That said he is a solid citizen, does some fantastic modeling work and makes the depth and complexity of our work far better. As long as I can keep him interested, we should be ok. Finally, FYI as of April 28th we are adding a new analyst, Yi Zhu, in HK. I've spent some time with her and I think she will add tremendously to the team. Anyway thanks so much for your support in making M&M the leading dashboard (in my humble view!) and we will continue to try and improve further with the addition of Yi. Ken
